Wind - a poem

Whoosh!
The winds blow.

They whisper through the trees,
Sending the leaves rustling,
Swaying the grass,
Causing the birds to ruffle their feathers.

It's cool and crisp,
It's a reminder of autumn.
It comes when the leaves brighten,
It makes them fall.

Whoosh!
The winds blow.

I'm really getting into poetry, especially nature-themed poems. I like my last one, "Rain" better, but I'm okay with this one. It didn't turn out as I hoped, but I'm really proud of "Rain"!

"Rain"

Rain.
It spatters onto my window.
Drip drop, Drip drop.
The droplets of water slide down,
Leaving wet trails along the glass behind them.

Drip,drop, drip drop.

I rest my elbow on the window sill,
I let out a sigh.
My breath forms a cloud on the smooth surface.

Drip, drop, drip drop.

The sky is blocked by a thick cluster of clouds.
Big, grey, and gloomy.
They cling to the sky like leeches,
Draining the bright blue away.

Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop.
Rain.

It's been raining here a lot. I don't like rain very much. I like the smell, and the noise, but that's it. Other than that it's gloomy and a nuisance. We need it though so oh well. What do you think of my poem?
