A Whole Other World ~ A Warriors Fanfiction: Chapter 3

Chapter 3

"I must go to the Moon Den!" Mistybird thought. Windrose groaned in her nest, and Mistybird walked over to her. "What's wrong?" She asked softly. "I feel weak... And my sides are sore." Windrose rasped. "Okay," Mistybird said, "I'll be right back." She nodded to Rainfur and Petalstar. Petalstar nodded back and left the den. Rainfur stayed by his mate's side, his eyes wide with worry. Mistybird sighed, and her tail twitched. She needed to be there for Windrose, but she had to learn more about the prophecy. Then she caught a glimpse of Rainfur, whispering to his mate in the nursery. "I have to stay here." She said to herself. "Huh?" Rainfur asked, lifting his head up. "Oh! Nothing, I'm just going to go get Windrose some herbs." Mistybird said, flicking her ears. "Okay." Rainfur dipped his head.
Mistybird walked off to the medicine den, and grabbed some borage leaves, chamomile, and poppy seeds. Then she quickly put the poppy seeds back, worried that they would make her too drowsy. When she stepped into the nursery, she heard faint snoring coming from Windrose, her six kits now sleeping as well. She handed the bunch of herbs to Rainfur, and asked him to give them to her when she woke up. Then Mistybird headed to Petalstar's den.
On the way there a large grey tom stopped her. "Hello Stonepelt." She said. Stonepelt was Windrose's father, as well as deputy of Treeclan. "How is Windrose?" He asked. Mistybird realized nobody knew anything about the birth yet. It was still early, and most cats were on patrol when it happened. "She's fine. She's sleeping right now, but you can go see her if you wish." Mistybird blinked softly, Stonepelt looked relieved to hear she was doing okay. Mistybird wasn't going to tell him that Mistybird was anything but "fine". She was lying to every cat, but she wasn't going to give up on Windrose yet. "How many kits?" Stonepelt asked. "Six," Mistybird replied, "Four tons and two she-cats." "Six! Wow!" Stonepelt said, his eyes widening. Mistybird purred. "I've got to go see Petalstar now." She said as she dipped her head to Stonepelt.
"Petalstar?" Mistybird called as she entered the leader's den. "Yes?" Petalstar asked, stepping up to Mistybird, "Is something wrong?" "No!" Mistybird exclaimed. Petalstar jumped back. "I mean... No. Nothing's wrong. I came to tell you that I want to stay here with Windrose, and won't be going to the Moon Den. Could I send a warrior to explain why?" Mistybird fidgeted as she spoke. "Of course, as long as they don't cross any borders." Petalstar said, her sea green eyes looking directly at Mistybird. "Great!" Mistybird said, and she rushed out of the tree, jumping down into the clearing."
Mistybird padded up to the first warrior she saw, a young tortoiseshell she-cat named Lilytail.
She explained what she needed Lilytail to do, and the young cat blinked her green eyes, dipped her head, and bounded off.
"Mistybird, come quick!" Mistybird heard Rainfur yowl from the nursery.

Ooh... A cliff hanger! Mwahahahahahaha ;)

A Whole Other World - Warriors Fanfic: Chapter 2

'Lo.
Here's chapter 2 of "A Whole Other World".

Mistybird awoke and shuddered. "Hello? Mistybird, are you okay?" Mistybird was on the ground, staring up at Petalstar, Leafclan's leader. "Are you okay?" Petalstar repeated, blinking her amber eyes. "Yes, yes, of course!" Mistybird replied, scrambling to her paws and shaking her light grey pelt.
"Are you sure?" Rainfur, who was standing behind Petalstar asked. "Yes. Don't worry about it." Mistybird said confidently, though she was still shaken by her vision.
The two cats eyed her skeptically, but soon Petalstar asked, "How is Windrose doing?" Oh! Mistybird thought, I hope she's okay... Mistybird let out a sigh of relief when she saw that Windrose's breathing had settled and she was sleeping. With icy blue eyes blinking calmly, she said, "She's doing better than I thought she would. With plenty of rest she should be fine." Rainfur's dark brown fur settled down and he sighed, "Thank StarClan."
"Shouldn't you be headed to the Moon Den?" Petalstar asked. Foxdung! I forgot! The Moon Den was a tunnel in the ground that had four nests in it, a hole in the ceiling let moonlight light the den.  Medicine cats of TreeClan, SandClan, BreezeClan, and RoseClan had been going to the Moon Den to share dreams with StarClan for as long as any cat could remember. Mistybird remembered the vision. "Of course I'm going! She said. And then she looked at Windrose, who was beginning to wake up. But how can I? She asked herself.

A Whole Other World - A Warriors Fanfiction: Prologue and Chapter One

Hi!
I just finished the last Warriors book, The Last Hope, and let me tell you... IT WAS SOOOO SAD!!! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA! It was just too much!!!! I loved it though. I simply LOVE ALL of the Warriors series. IT IS FLAWLESS! Today I thought I'd share some Warriors fanfiction I've written. This is "A Whole Other World" prologue and chapter 1.

                                                                          Prologue
Beyond the Clans at the lake, beyond even the forest abandoned long ago, a whole other set of Clans lie. They were guided by their own warrior ancestors, that hunted in an entire different realm of StarClan. The two separate sets of Clans had long since forgotten each other, and no living or StarClan cat remembered the time so long ago, when eight Clans lived together.
Yet just as the Clans around the lake had defeated their own Place Of No Stars, a different part of the Dark Forest was rising. The eight Clans, separated so long ago, must unite to defeat the force of the growing power of the Place Of No Stars.

                                                                         Chapter 1

"Hello Mistybird." Volenose, a brown tom with a muzzle turning grey said to Leafclan's medicine cat. "Hello Volenose." Mistybird replied through a mouthful of dock leaves she was carrying to the medicine den. Setting the herbs down, she asked the senior warrior, " How is your sore shoulder?" "Just fine." Volenose replied, "It's feeling much better. You should stop fussing over me and pay attention to Windrose, her kits should be here any day now, correct?" "Yes, and it seems to me that it will be at least four kits, that's much too many for her age! But you, Volenose, will be retiring to the elders den soon, and you can't argue with that!" Mistybird snorted, and scurried back to the medicine den with her dock leaves.
Leafclan's medicine den was made completely out of brambles and brush, shaped into a small cave. It needed frequent upkeep to keep it water-tight and warm for Mistybird and her patients. The Leafclan camp itself was not the best, it was a ring of tall trees, with brush stuffed in between the trees accept for a small opening. Leafclan really had a lousy camp compared to the other clans, but they had very nice territory. Leafclan had thick brush that prey like mice, voles, and shrews liked to hide in, as well as the tall trees full of squirrels. Every Leafclan cat learned to climb the trees very  early on, Leafclan cats practically lived in the trees. The nursery, leader's den, and apprentice's dens were even IN the trees, inside hollows.
"Mistybird!" a cat screeched, "Come quick! It's Windrose!" Mistybird raced to the nursery and found Windrose breathing heavily, her mate Rainfur by her side. Mistybird nodded. "The kits are coming." She darted out of the nursery and turned into her den, she snatched up a bunch of herbs and ran back into the nursery. "It's okay Windrose..." She said.
After not long there were six kits snuggled up around Windrose's belly, but Windrose's was not doing as great as her newborn kits. Mistybird sighed, it didn't look like Windrose was going to make it. Suddenly, a bright flash of light blinded Mistybird, and then she found herself standing by a river. A large black she-cat approached her and she realized she was sharing a vision with StarClan. "Hello Nightstar." She nodded, but Nightstar did not return the greeting. Her eyes widened and with a raspy voice Nightstar said, "Six cats of rain and wind will journey far to find forgotten kin." And then she stepped forward and whispered, "Darkness is coming."

So...
Did you like it? I know if you haven't read Warriors it probably makes no sense, but I like it so I decided to post it. Tell me what you think in the comments!

The Ghost Of The Graveyard

Hello!
I wrote a little piece to go with this picture I found.
*Warning: a little creepy!*

Hello there.
I'm Belle. I sort of live at a cemetery. Only... I don't exactly "live" here, because I'm dead. I'm kind of a ghost. Don't worry though, I'm not as bad as some of the other ghosts. I died when I was 13, now I just watch those who come and go here, and occasionally I'll straighten the flowers on the graves. I sit in a tree above the place where I was buried, and count the people and cars passing by. I don't mean to scare you, but that feeling you get that someone is watching you when you're alone is probably me, or another ghost. I'm waiting for my moment, because there's something I need to handle here on Earth. Only... I don't know what it is. I was very unlucky to become a ghost. It's really boring. I can't wait to find out what I'm supposed to do.

I hope I didn't scare you too much...

The Pony Of Snow

Hello. Here's a quick writing piece titled, "The Pony of Snow".

She's dapple grey, lovely and kind.
Yet wild the mare is,
Untouched by human hands.
Her mane flows down her neck,
Blowing back in the cold wind.

Few have seen her,
but she has seen many.
She has watchful eyes,
and will easily slip away from
anyone who seeks her.

Some say she doesn't exist,
but believe me, she does.
For if you find yourself lost in a blizzard,
You won't be truly alone.

Yeah... it didn't make sense. I'm still working on my poetry skills.
